About the Role

As a Tech Support Engineer, you'll deliver Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for Windows, macOS, and Microsoft 365, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure clear communication and proper documentation in a remote work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide remote Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT support via phone, email, and remote access tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in Microsoft Windows and macOS environments.
  • Administer and support Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Entra ID.
  • Support desktop, laptop, printer, and basic network issues.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of tickets, systems, and procedures.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior engineers as needed.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and team members.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Science, or a related field.
  • Strong English language skills (spoken and written).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a help desk or remote IT support role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Experience supporting Windows 10/11 and macOS.
  • Familiarity with basic networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment with a reliable internet connection.
  • Availability during standard US Eastern Time business hours.
  • Experience working for a Managed Services Provider (MSP).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft 365 certifications).
  • Experience with RMM, PSA, or IT documentation tools.
  • Familiarity with security tools such as MFA, antivirus, and backup solutions.
